Papatoetoe Rugby Football Club

The Papatoetoe Rugby Football Club is affiliated to the Auckland Rugby Union. We have an amazing number of coaches, managers, referees and club volunteers that help these young people get out and play a team sport, improve their fitness and along the way make friends.

The club is in the heart of South Auckland where the hearts and minds of our people are linked strongly to the community. Papatoetoe RFC along with other sporting clubs is a vital link between families and friends, providing the opportunity for improved health and well being by way of involvement in our great game of Rugby.

One of our main objectives is communication with our members, a task taken on by a few dedicated volunteers but sadly lacking with information about events, dates, games, cancellations etc. With over 25 teams this makes a lot of phone calls and texts from busy parents and coaches.

So our new website  will give Papatoetoe Rugby the ability to communicate daily with our many members and will make the operation of the rugby club a lot easier and efficient.

The Rugby Club is committed to supply adequate playing gear for our members to practice with and play the game, rugby jerseys are supplied to each team, shorts and sox are available from the club at reasonable rates.

The links we have with other sports in Papatoetoe are many, with the construction of a new Multisport complex that will cater for all sports on Kingswood Reserve and the Recreation ground. A new fun place to play, socialize and bring the family for the all important aftermatch.

We are involved in competitions Auckland wide from April through to August, well run and organized by our parent body, the Auckland Rugby Union, who also offer a huge amount of support to club and players alike.
